Are You An Expert Teleseminar Speaker?

We are looking for Expert Teleseminar Speakers to fill our calendar. Our 2008 theme is Joy. If you have a topic that can easily encompass our theme, please fill out our intake form below as the first part of the process.

We will contact you by telephone to make an appointment for you to speak with our hostess and Chief Villager, Michelle Ulrich, whereby she will interview you further to be sure your topic and style are a good fit for our members.

Teleseminar Details and Expectations

  • Schedule: Teleseminar calls are (almost) always on the third Tuesday of each month, unless there are holidays or we are out of the office
  • Duration: 10:00 am – 11:00 am Pacific
    • One hour total
    • 35-40 minutes presentation time
    • Final 10-15 minutes Q & A time and our conclusion
  • Format: Scripted interview style with Q & A at the end
  • Handouts or other deliverables are required 4-6 weeks in advance to plan webinar versus teleseminar
  • Recordings: ALL Teleseminars are recorded - no exceptions
    • Recordings are emailed to registrants within a week after the teleseminar
    • Guests will also have access to the teleseminar recording for marketing purposes
  • Quick 5-question survey sent with the recorded audio to registrants for feedback (results emailed upon request)

Teleseminar Marketing and Promotion

Guest Speaker Responsiblities

  • Guest shall provide the following 2-4 months in advance:
    • Speaker photo
    • Presentation Title
    • Presentation Description (2000 characters)
    • What will the audience learn from your presentation (list 5-10 bullets)
    • Speaker Biography (400 characters)
    • Details about special offers or discounts for your products or services
    • Additional comments about presentation

Guest Speaker Promotional Responsiblities

  • TVN will provide the following for guest speaker to use in own promotions:
    • Calendar notice to guest speaker's contact list
    • Web page URL for details, registration and etc.
    • Plain text email announcement (upon request)

TVN Teleseminar Responsiblities

  • Provide guest speaker with call-in details within 2 weeks prior to event
  • Provide guest speaker with special instructions
    • Please use a land line or high quality cordless phone to avoid echoing, feedback, or other oddities with your telephone system
    • Do not use a cell phone - poor reception, may cut out, die, etc.
    • Use a high quality headset (test out in advance)
    • Please find a quiet location for the duration of our interview
    • Please be prepared with your own notes or bullet points
  • Provide guest speaker with any/all promotional materials required
  • Perform a 'dry run' if guest speaker is interested
  • Record teleseminar using one main recording feature, plus one back up

TVN Promotional Responsiblities

  • Calendar notices are emailed out to TVN list and message boards
  • Calendar notices are posted on message board calendars, media, social networking sites like Craigslist, FastPitch, LinkedIn, MySpace, Xing, and more.
  • Website links are posted on all pages of The Virtual Nation website
  • Teleseminar sales page is updated 4 weeks prior to event
  • Bi-weekly ezine announcement
  • Blog announcement
